The audience was brimming with life at the Events Center of the Mandalay Bay hotel and Casino when Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez entered the ring. Pacquiao entered the arena first, with Black Eyed Peas star Allan Pineda, also known as Apl.d.ap, rapping his single "Bebot" on the ring while Pacquiao made his way to the ring. Because of his title, Marquez was agreed upon to enter the ring last, to the tune of Mexican mariachis.

Michael Buffer made his usual boisterous introductions. Before the fighter entrance, Ciara Sotto sang the Philippine national anthem, Lupang Hinirang, while Mexican entertainer Teo Gonzalez sang for the Mexicoside. The Star Spangled banner, the national anthem of the US, was belted out by a 14 years old American singer with a Filipino, and Mexican lineage, Jasmine Villegas.
